BBC
News have picked up on the Appeal at Blackheath which is to be launched at
the Blackheath May Day Village Fair. There is reception for those wishing to
support the St Martin's Blackheath Appeal on
Wednesday 18th June in Blackheath Village Hall, when a talk will be
given by Olive Maggs about the paintings.
There are a number of
opportunities that will arise at the APCM in April for individuals to serve the church.
There are 4 vacancies on the PCC plus 1 as a Deanery Synod
representative. We have 8 nominations so
far. We still require 1 further nomination
for Churchwarden for Wonersh.
We are always looking for members
for several Teams. Workers in Children’s and Youth Ministry

The PCC Accounts for 2007 and the Budget
(which will formally be presented at the APCM) are now available.
On the
recommendation of the Finance Team, the PCC have agreed that the redecoration
of the church will be split into two parts, with the chancel & vestry being
done this year and the nave being left
